When you create a Tenue account, we collect your email address, display name, and profile information. We also store wardrobe photos you upload, anonymous usage analytics to improve the app experience, and city-level location data to provide weather-appropriate outfit suggestions.
How We Use Your Information
Your wardrobe data and style preferences are used to personalize AI styling recommendations tailored to your taste. We analyze usage patterns to improve outfit suggestion accuracy and overall app performance. We never sell your personal information to third parties.
Data Storage & Security
Your account data is stored securely on Supabase with encryption at rest and in transit. Wardrobe images are hosted on Cloudinary, a trusted image CDN with enterprise-grade security. We follow industry-standard security practices including regular audits and access controls.
Third-Party Services
Tenue integrates with select third-party services to deliver its features: Anthropic API powers our AI styling recommendations, Cloudinary handles image processing and storage, and Open-Meteo provides weather data for location-based suggestions. Payment processing is handled by Apple and Google through their respective app stores.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can export your entire wardrobe and account data from the app settings. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@tenueapp.com or use the in-app data management tools.
Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account remains active. If you choose to delete your account, all associated data including wardrobe photos and styling history will be permanently removed within 30 days of the deletion request.
Children's Privacy
Tenue is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable laws. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email and update the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Tenue after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
